Hello Stafford Saddlery Customers!
Commencing December 1, 2024, all used saddles will be sold via the Tack Attic. While I have maintained my saddle fitting and sales business by serving customers in their barns, I have sold mostly new and custom saddles. The majority of our used saddle sales occur on the sales floor at the former Saddlery Shop, currently the Tack Attic, and via our website. It is therefore in the best interest of consigners to have The Tack Attic handling used saddles.
This is not much of a change. The staff of The Tack Attic has been working with customers in the saddle show room and sending saddles out on trial. If used saddles match the criteria, goals, and budget of one of my barn visit customers I will continue to include them as I work closely with Betsy and The Tack Attic inventory. Due to my arrangement with Equipe, I will continue to carry used Equipe Saddles.
We will transition all the used saddles from the Strafford Saddlery website to The Tack Attic in the coming months. We will have a link on the Strafford Saddlery website to The Tack Attic for used saddles. The only real change is that on December 1, 2024 consignment intake forms will be transferred to The Tack Attic. If you would like to pick up your saddle, you can do so during The Tack Attic hours of operation; Wednesday-Friday 11am-5pm & Saturdays 10am-3pm.
